It promises to be a show to remember!
Jane Chambers’s groundbreaking play comes to Salisbury's award-winning Studio Theatre this October. Studio Theatre is thrilled to present its first ever play that centres on queer characters and tackles LGBTQ issues.
It's 1980 in Long Island, New York. Across the US, homophobia is rife, and it’s thirty-five years before same-sex marriage will be legalised. Seven friends take refuge at Bluefish Cove - a secret seaside haven - where they can live and love freely. When a straight woman named Eva wanders unknowingly into their midst, romance and drama ensue, and by the end of the summer, everyone’s lives are changed forever.
Directed by Philippa Crundwell and starring Sophie Townsend, George Cotterill, Clare Green, Roz Skellorn, Lynnette Barnes, Nikki Shepherd, and Antonia Harding.
